Good Life Vox Box!

So, I've been signed up for Influenster for a bit now, and I'm really excited because I've just received my first box! It's the Good Life box, so it's filled with things that help you lead a healthy life! I got an email saying I was prequalified, then I filled out a survey, and they emailed me within a week to tell me they were sending the box.
I just got the box today, but I don't want to open it yet, because I want to film the unboxing tomorrow and post it to my YouTube account.
I'll be updating here when I finish that video, and again once I've tested the products, with reviews of each one.

So, I'm having quite the hairday

 I used Big Sexy hair's volumizing spray mousse and blow dried upside down. My hair has a natural wave, and the mousse definitely helped my hair hold onto the wave during the blowdry. It has some texture near the roots, without feeling crunchy/dry or greasy. It stills feels clean, just... textured. I didn't use it on my ends, I just rubbed a little Grapeseed Glossing Serum from The Body Shop in before and after I blow dried. It's super shiny, too. I don't have a picture with the flash on, unfortunately, so you'll have to trust me!

It's My BIRTHDAY!

FOTD

Yesterday was my birthday! I seriously had the best day ever. My husband, Andy, took the day off of work and we bought a vanity for all of my makeup, and we had sushi for dinner. It was such a fun day.

I've only recently gotten into makeup, with the help of r/makeupaddiction and my friend Jess. I've amassed quite the collection in a very short time, and I've been trying to take pictures of my FOTD (Face of the Day) whenever I have a good makeup day.
My birthday FOTD was simple and fresh.

For this look I used the following products:
    Skin: L'Oreal Lumi in W3, NARS blush in Orgasm, NARS highlighter in Albatross
    Eyes: Stila Stay All Day liner in Intense Black, NARS eyeshadow duo in Isolde, Benefit They're Real mascara in Black, Benefit Brow Zings in Light
    Lips: Sephora Rouge Shine lipstick in #04 So Cute!



I'm really happy with how this look turned out, though I wish I had taken a higher quality picture! I'm just starting to figure out the brow situation, too; I'm pleased with the result!

I ordered a couple Lorac palettes for my birthday, and I'm really excited to get them! I plan on swatching them as soon as they arrive.
